The best business decisions start with listening. The Employee Listening Lead will own Pinterest's Employee Listening strategy and end-to-end program execution. You'll design a multi-channel, year-round listening ecosystem, driving and scaling insights and action that actively inform decision-making across the organization.

This role will play a crucial part in strengthening our culture of feedback by creating listening mechanisms that effectively capture the employee voice and translating what you hear into tangible business insights.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Pinterest's Employee Listening strategy to engage and gather insights from employees across the employee lifecycle, identifying actionable insights

  • Drive end-to-end listening program design, scale, execution, and refinement of our flagship engagement survey, pulse surveys, lifecycle surveys, and ad hoc surveys/qualitative systems

  • Design a scalable approach to qualitative research, including focus groups, interviews, and other methods that uncover the 'why' behind the data

  • Lead enterprise action planning and annual strategic commitments, focusing on end-to-end project management to ensure accountability and measurable organizational change.

  • Architect a framework for decentralized listening in partnership with stakeholders across People, Technology, and Legal, ensuring the listening systems are scalable

  • Own survey tools, including administration, vendor relationship management, and internal support

  • Design listening strategies that are culturally sensitive and effective across global, diverse populations

  • Partner with the People Insights & Analytics team to ensure effective delivery of listening insights to stakeholders through a data visualization and reporting strategy

  • Coordinate closely with teams across People to define sentiment measurement objectives aligned to business priorities

  • Translate employee insights into compelling narratives and recommendations that drive retention, engagement, productivity, and performance

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, considering effective change management and communication strategies

  • Provide effective project management oversight and demonstrate capability to drive multiple large-scale projects at once

  • Build effective relationships with cross-functional partners to drive seamless program execution

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication across technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of seniority

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in employee listening, organizational effectiveness, industrial/organizational psychology, or program management in scaled/global environments

  • Experience in end-to-end ownership of a multi-channel listening program and translation of insights into measurable action

  • Proven track record designing, implementing, and managing large-scale employee listening programs in large, matrixed organizations

  • A proven organizational lens: You understand company systems, culture, and structure, allowing you to spot patterns in data and focus recommendations on root causes of organizational challenges.

  • Experience simplifying complexity and designing scalable listening systems that deliver meaningful, high-value insight

  • Strong technical expertise in survey methodology and qualitative research design

  • Strong program and change management skills with ability to thrive in fast-moving environments while being known as a trusted cross-functional partner

  • Executive-ready communication and storytelling: you translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for all audiences

  • Tooling expertise with Peakon and/or Qualtrics; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI) and HRIS (Workday)

  • Strong business acumen with a user-centric approach: you connect employee needs to organizational goals

  • Demonstrable track record of stakeholder management, executive influence, and partnership

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience

In-Office Requirement Statement:
