Data Entry Specialist

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliableData Entry Specialistto support our clinical operations team by entering and maintaining accurate data in theScout portal. This is a remote 1099 contract role anticipated to last 6 months with approximately 40 hours each week. It is ideal for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.The specialist will play a key role in tracking progress and ensuring data integrity across operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data into the Scout portal based on provided documentation and source materials.
Monitor and track progress of data entries to ensure completeness and timeliness.
Perform regular audits to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment on data requirements and timelines.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Generate basic reports or summaries from the portal as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Proven experience in data entry or administrative support roles.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with data entry software and systems; experience with Scout portal is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with clinical operations or healthcare data preferred.
Experience with tracking tools or project management systems preferred.
